In your first lesson, I will get to know your skills, potential, desires, and styles of learning. Then I'll customize your future lessons to maximize your progress, helping you achieve your goals and even grow beyond them.
Learn in a safe, professional studio
I am available for piano, voice, ukulele, and guitar instruction at two area music studios. Students have the option to prepare for and perform in recitals twice a year.

About Colette Jones
I have over 30 years experience in vocal and instrumental instruction for various age groups and learning levels, as well as performing professionally in voice, piano, and guitar.
My Bachelors degree is from Morehead State in music education with a piano major and voice minor, also studying guitar, jazz, choral conducting, music arranging, and composition.
My Masters degree in music education is from Eastern Kentucky University, where I learned dulcimer and many other folk instruments. My doctoral work at the University of Kentucky gave me the opportunity to learn and explore Asian folk instruments, study in-depth vocal techniques, and develop a new focus on the deep connections between music and literacy, both with language and math.
I am very passionate about finding the best way for every student to learn and succeed.
